I am on a mission to spread awareness of next generation technologies that are available today. Right now the focus is on web and desktop applications; specifically with RIAs,  and specifically with Adobe Flex. In brief, Flex is software/web development technology for creating highly interactive applications based on the Flash medium. Flex enables you to create truly rich applications that add business value and yield high returns on investment (ROI); at the same time it provides traditional software developers with a language and framework that promotes traditional coding standards that allow for smooth and rapid development of robust high quality software, straightforward maintenance, and solution scalability.

I will be hosting Flex/Flash RIA workshop in mid January in Lagos. The point of my Flex/Flash RIA workshop is to showcase the technology, and give basic training to interested developers. Please stay tuned!
